The sun is low in the sky as Joe vehicles pour over the horizon: Maulers, Armadillos, AWE Strikers, and a SkyStriker.
From Joe Headquarters, Flint points ahead as the Joes advance. Pan past Dusty in a Sky Hawk to several SkyStrikers, Dragonflies, and another Sky Hawk with Quick Kick. We also see Barbecue on foot, and Alpine and Bazooka on the back of an Armadillo driven by a greenshirt. Mutt and Tripwire run along in front, with an AWE Striker in the background.
We follow behind the SkyStriker toward the looming Cobra mothership, a black, floating fortress shaped like a snake's hood.
The SkyStriker is piloted by Ace, and in his goggles we see the reflection of the mothership launching Trubble Bubbles from its jaws. Pan in on the central flight pod, being flown by Zartan.
Inside the mothership's left eye, Cobra Commander, in his battle helmet, gives orders to Zarana, who is standing by a four-foot model globe with a Cobra insignia over the Pacific Ocean. A Cobra soldier is just visible at the controls.
Ace brings up a heads-up display of crosshairs and pushes the button on his joystick.
Ace's laser shots strafe the eyeball cockpit, and the Commander and his troops flinch.
With a Trubble Bubble in the distance, Destro fies from a turret beside the mothership's mouth.
Alpine and Bazooka ride another Sky Hawk under the mothership's belly. Alpine's grappling hook catches the ship, and the two are pulled upward.
Bazooka flips from Alpine's feet to Destro's turret. He throws Destro to the ground.
Destro is caught by Footloose, who tosses him to Roadblock. Roadblock dumps the Cobra onto a pile of Dreadnoks.
Shipwreck flies a SHARC into a trench in the mothership's surface, pursued by a Rattler. At the last moment, the trench becomes too narrow, and Wild Weasel is forced to eject.
Dusty fires a bazooka toward the screen.
G. I. Joe's front-line fighters prepare to press forward while the ground rocks with explosions: Zap, Rock 'n Roll, Scarlett, Breaker, Duke, Steeler, and Gung-Ho. Stalker lands in their midst wearing a jet pack.
Duke points forward (toward camera), and the Joes charge. A SkyStriker flies overhead.
Red, white, and blue stripes thin and rotate to reveal the familiar G. I. Joe logo.
Through binoculars, we see Airtight fighting off a Cobra trooper.
Reverse angle: Cobra Commander lowers the binoculars and aims a rifle.
Now through the rifle's scope, we see Lady Jaye tossing another Cobra over her shoulder.
As Cobra Commander prepares to fire, a gloved hand reaches toward his shoulder.
Flint, the owner of the aforementioned hand, hurls the Commander through the eye-window. The Cobra leader lands on his model globe, smashing it.
A time bomb placed on the mothership counts down its last four seconds.
Explosions rock the Cobra mothership as it crashes toward the ground. Out of the fireball run the assault team: Airtight, Lady Jaye, Flint, Alpine, and Bazooka.
The Joes stand cheering, with fireworks in the air behind them. Pull back to reveal the Joe logo on the grey platform underneath them, and an American flag rising behind them. The Joes gathered are Quick Kick, Snake-Eyes, Barbecue, Dusty, Ace (in a SkyStriker), Breaker, Lady Jaye, Bazooka, Flint, Alpine, Footloose (in an Armadillo), Gung-Ho, Shipwreck, and Roadblock. A flash plays across the logo just before fade out.
